Pray for Nigeria

Proof, Something Huge is Going Down in Nigeria.

Prayer against prosecution of God‘s people
For those being persecuted for the love of Jesus

Heavenly Father,
I come before You with a heart heavy for my brothers and sisters who are suffering death for Your name’s sake. Lord, You see each one of them. You know their fears, their struggles, and their pain. You are with them in their cells, in the darkness, and in the moments when they feel alone. I ask that You pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, giving them supernatural strength, peace, and courage to endure whatever they face.

Lord Jesus, just as Paul and Silas worshiped You in prison, let these faithful ones lift up their voices in praise, knowing that no chains, no walls, and no captors can separate them from Your love. Let their faith shine as a testimony, even to their persecutors, that the light of Christ cannot be extinguished. Jesus Christ is coming back soon.

I pray for divine intervention. If it is Your will, Lord, deliver them as You delivered Peter from prison. Send angels to guard them, open doors that no man can shut, and set them free to continue proclaiming the gospel. But if it is Your will that they remain where they are, give them the endurance and steadfast faith to stand firm until the very end.

I also pray for their families—wives, husbands, children, and loved ones—who are grieving, waiting, and suffering alongside them. Comfort them, Lord, and remind them that their suffering is not in vain. I lift up the persecutors, that their hearts may be softened and that they, too, may encounter the truth of Jesus Christ. To know Jesus is coming back soon.

Father, I do not take my freedom for granted. Stir in my heart a deeper urgency to intercede for these men and women, to stand in prayer for them as though I were bound with them. May the global church arise in unity, praying without ceasing for our persecuted brothers and sisters.

Lord, strengthen the suffering church, embolden them, and let them not waver. May their reward be great in heaven, for they are truly blessed for suffering for Your name’s sake. I pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords.
Amen.
