It has been 10 full days since over 160 worshippers were abducted by terrorists inside a church. Ten days of silence. Ten days of delay. Ten days of helpless families waiting while government officials play their usual games.
The Kaduna State Commissioner of Police, Alhaji @Mohammad Rabiu, was quick to deny the incident. Extremely quick. But where is that same energy for rescuing the victims?
The governor of Kaduna State Senator Uba Sani was also quick to show up with sirens, escorts, and a busload of journalists—because cameras must always be present. But once the photos were taken and the statements were made, the real work disappeared.
After all the noise, what do we have?
Nothing.
The same recycled promises. The same weak response. The same lukewarm attitude that has become routine whenever innocent people are taken.
Enough of the political drama.
Enough of the media show.
This is not a campaign stop. This is not a publicity stunt. Human lives are on the line.
Those abducted are not statistics. They are fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters. And every passing day exposes the government’s failure and indifference.
We demand immediate, serious, and forceful action. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Now.
Anything less is unacceptable
