The Boko Haram sect has publicly declared that its major objective is jihad and nothing else. 

The sect in Gwoza says its war is based on Prophet Mohammed's teachings on jihad. 

They threaten death to the Christian communities and Ngoshe community in Borno State, with the option to convert to Islam.
