What steps is the Nigerian government taking against Burkina Faso?

Honestly I still believe one of the most shameful things that has happened to Nigeria this year is this situation with Burkina Faso.

A country of about 24 million people, size of lagos reportedly.

Till today, Nigerians are still asking simple questions.
What steps is the Nigerian government taking?
We are not hearing clear updates.
Maybe things are happening quietly in the background.
But silence at this level from the Nigerian government is worrying.
Nigeria is called the Giant of Africa.
Yet another small country is reportedly holding their military personnel, accusing them of espionage and even talking about prosecuting them, and we are watching.
If Nigeria cannot negotiate the release of its own people from last week till now, then it is really embarrassing.
If they stay there for another month with no breakthrough, no public update, no resolution, it becomes a national shame.
This is not about ego.
This is about responsibility.
This is about protecting citizens who were on official duty.
The government must intensify diplomatic efforts immediately.
By the end of this week, Nigerians deserve to hear something concrete.
Anything short of that is unacceptable.
The military knows this.
The government knows this.
Nigeria should clear this mess Asap
