The bandits that blocked the road abducted five travelers but were swiftly confronted by a joint team of Police, Katsina Community Watch Corps (CWC) and local vigilantes.
The security operatives engaged the bandits, successfully dispersed them and rescued all the abducted victims. One CWC operative unfortunately sustained a gunshot injury and is currently receiving treatment.
Kudos to our brave security personnel for their rapid and courageous response and thank you to everyone who amplified the early warning, our collective effort truly made a difference.
