486 Suspected Boko Haram Arrested in Abia State!
In a major security sweep, soldiers from the 144 Battalion intercepted a massive convoy along the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway, detaining 486 suspects amid fears of insurgency.
The convoy, consisting of 33 buses moving under the cover of night, was stopped between Aro-Ngwa and Imo Gate around 3 a.m., raising immediate red flags. Among those arrested were 8 women, while most men were aged 16–24.
Military officials confirmed that a wanted terror suspect on the national list was among those detained, elevating this operation to a high-priority security case.
