 NORTH IN MOURNING: GOVERNORS CONDEMN TERROR ATTACKS AND MARITIME TRAGEDY

The Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF) on Sunday expressed outrage over the brutal attack at Kasuwan Daji Market in Demo community, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State, where at least 30 traders were killed, many abducted, and the market set ablaze by suspected terrorists.

Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, NSGF Chairman and Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya called the attack a “heinous assault on innocent citizens” and condemned the perpetrators in the strongest possible terms. He urged security agencies to track down the attackers and ensure they face justice, while extending condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Niger State.
