URGENT QUESTIONS THAT DEMAND ANSWERS URGENTLY IN BOTH CASES
1. The cases of Nnamdi Kanu and Simon Ekpa must now collapse, since the evidence used at the time was tainted by terrorism financing allegations involving the then Attorney General, whose charges were dropped yesterday by the same government.
QUESTIONS:
2. If Nigerian courts and courts in Finland relied on corrupted intelligence evidence supplied by Nigeria’s former Attorney General, Abubakar Malami—who was himself accused of financing terrorism while in office—and who prepared dossiers used by agencies to abduct and rendition Nnamdi Kanu on the same (allegedly fabricated) terrorism charges;
3. And if this same corrupted evidence was distributed by that Attorney General, whose own terrorism financing charges have now been dropped by the Nigerian government, despite his role as former Minister of Justice under President Muhammadu Buhari (2015–2023), and his alleged involvement in unlawful actions and fabricated intelligence reports;
4. Is it not now time to drop both cases, given that the former Attorney General, Abubakar Malami, was the central figure behind the alleged false intelligence?
5. The former custodian of the law, who brought charges against others, is now himself facing a revised charge sheet focused solely on the alleged illegal possession of firearms in his residence.
6. Does Finland now recognize the situation created by the former Attorney General of Nigeria through these so-called intelligence dossiers?
7. The amended charge states that weapons and live cartridges were recovered from Malami’s residence in Birnin Kebbi, in north-west Nigeria. SO WHO WAS A TERRORIST HERE ?
