Drama seriously unfolded in the senate today following a heated exchange between senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and Northern college who allegedly made a provocative statement , saying ''Nnamdi Kanu will d!e in prison and nothing will happen ."
According to eyewitness account , Abaribe immediately countered the statement and also reacted outrageously, he stood up immediately and warn the northern senator never to make such statement again ,
The chamber descended in to shouting as other lawmakers rushed and separated the two before confrontation escalated
Enyinnaya Abaribe quoted saying
"You do not speak careless about my brother that his case is still in court like that .
Nigeria is already too fragile for such reckless statements to come from u
Another senator ,trying to calm the room added
" this is the national assembly, not a battle filled, we must show restraint even when we disagree
