When leaders meet terrorists in secret, citizens pay the price in blood

“When leaders meet terrorists in secret, citizens pay the price in blood.”

Photographs allegedly taken in August last year are now circulating, reportedly showing the Chairman of Kajuru Local Government Area in a meeting with armed terrorists within the LGA.
Since that alleged meeting, these same terrorists have gone on to attack communities and abduct innocent residents, including the mass abduction of 177 Christian worshippers from three churches on Sunday, January 18. The sequence of events is deeply troubling and raises urgent questions that can no longer be ignored.

The people of Kajuru deserve a full, public explanation.
What was the nature of the Chairman’s relationship with these armed men?
What was the purpose of the meeting?
Who authorised it and in whose interest was it held?
These are exactly the kinds of actions the Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, has repeatedly warned against. Engaging terrorists outside lawful security frameworks emboldens them, legitimises violence, and puts innocent lives at risk.
Silence is no longer acceptable. In a democracy, leaders are accountable to the people. Kajuru citizens must demand answers clearly, loudly, and immediately.
