Boko Haram Demands ₦5 Billion, Gives 72-Hour Deadline Over 416 Kidnapped Women and Children in Borno.
Boko Haram has demanded ₦5 billion ransom for the release of 416 abducted women and children in Borno State, warning that time is running out.
In a new video, the group gave a 72-hour ultimatum, threatening to move the victims to unknown locations where they may never be seen again if their demand is not met.
They also warned the government not to attempt any forceful rescue, claiming they are battle-ready and daring authorities to try.
The victims were abducted after a recent attack on a military base in Ngoshe.
